Considering a pet?

I love all things nerdy, especially robotic nerdy. So this year get ready for "Pleo", a robotic dinosaur that has

"body language, exhibits evolving emotions, is aware of his surroundings and has recognizable behaviors that change over time."

However, I would still favour adopting a real pet from the RSPCA instead of forking out the $349 USD for the dinosaur pet. The RSPCA has a great site called Adopt-a-Pet where you can search for all types of pets (and see pictures) that are currently available at the RSPCA centres.
